Intravacc is a vaccine development company. Several types of vaccines are being developed at Intravacc. When the research phase is complete, the final product is forwarded to various manufacturers to be produced. Communication is very important in vaccine development. Telephony should always work and lab staff should always be available. “So we were looking for a solution with a backup in case of an outage,” tell Adis Canic, IT Manager at Intravacc. “There had to be a piece of redundancy and a management needed and security we wanted to scale up. Intravacc was already working with Microsoft Teams, so it was a logical step to make sure they could make good, quality calls with it. Security was important here, so we chose to make an integration using UNIVERGE BLUE. Meanwhile, Intravacc has been using this for more than six months without any problems.

Adis: “We now have much more peace of mind and a piece of security. We feel that we are well taken care of. I find that very important in the IT field and it is also very important for Intravacc. If something happens in the lab, for example, there is a spill, all the doors are locked. Then the telephony has to work and I have 100% confidence that the solution we have now will always work.”

Carlo: “That trust is very important to us. We take care of everything for Intravacc, which is called Managed Services. We make sure that UNIVERGE BLUE always continues to function technically. This also allows SLTN to guarantee those five nines (99.999 percent uptime). Functional management is performed by Intravacc by the Adis team itself. This gives it a lot of flexibility, because they can quickly answer questions from the organization itself. But as soon as there are emergencies, Intravacc can always fall back on us.”
